Gaiole in Chianti is a municipality in the province of Siena, located between the hills of Chianti. The origins of the country are very ancient indeed should go back at Etruscan and Roman as can be seen from the necropolis that was discovered in the area. The country is very rich in monuments but those most important are the parish church of Santa Maria, Castello di Brolio and Meleto Castle.
